Francis Albert Sinatra : 1915 - 1998

ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD

Oh my goodness, what a lengthy ramble. Thanks for your patience... I didn't plan to carry on for so long. But that's how it goes in Sinatra world: You can never tell what's next. Ain't too bad anyway: The four hours are almost done, and so are four pints of Foster's.

Guess I'll have an additional drink right now. Forgive me Scotland, but this has to be Jack Daniels, from Tennessee. I'll drink to all of you, to all of my Sinatra friends, to all of the great music, to... but no, halt it, scrap it.

Go back to the top

Take two.

I'll drink to everything that happened just because ages ago, don't know where or when, an Italian kid from Hoboken, New Jersey, decided he wanted to be a singer.

Put another nickle to the machine.

"Stay little Valentine / please stayyy / each dayyy / is Valentine's dayyy / Summer time / winter time / eeevening time / or any time / I love you."

Oh yeah.
