No matter how crazy it gets, there's always one who'll understand.
And happily enough, it's Sinatra's world, with plenty of
understanding people around... The first exchanges of the kind came
after I joined Sinatra Music Society a couple of years ago, and then
of course, there was that day three years ago when I decided to
follow a link provided in Will Friedwald's "Sinatra! The Song Is You"
to join an Internet-based Sinatra mailing list.
Wouldn't It Be Loverly, to use the new media to get in contact with
fans world-wide ?
Loverly, yes. Kinda' understating, though. After a few weeks on-line
I had had more exciting and substantial Sinatra conversation than
ever since I had embarked on my Sinatra journey. Here's To The
Vinners and O'Briens and Bergs and Garnetts and on and on and on...
No need to tell you the rest of the story, leading to our little
community here, and resulting in making friends.
Virtually, but far beyond as well.
