Soliquory CYCLES
Provided all that, forgive me about being really enthusiastic about
this past weekend in London. You see, just a few years ago it was
retreating to the privacy of my grandpa's armchair to enjoy my
kind of music - now this past Saturday, a Sinatra dinner at The Royal
Lancaster in London, and royal it was, indeed. Meeting again with Roy
Tresadern, the one and only London Frankenguide, was just
a gasser. Meeting for the first time with Dick Schwarz, Beverly
Elander and Rick Apt was equally exciting, and fascinating as well:
Talking Sinatra in a relaxed atmosphere just as if you had been
friends for years. Finally meeting John Ridgway, closing the circle
back to those days when I first discovered his footpaths in Sinatra
discographies.
And with all of these, making plans for the future.
Releases, publications, newsletters. Oh boy.
