GOOD BYE FRANKIE. THANKS FOR SUCH BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. There will never be another Sinatra. He embodies the romance of yesterday, as well as today. I'm only 24... and "The Voice" has such a hold on me. He and he alone revives my ever sinking feeling that romance has never existed in this world... and that angels really are looking over us. You will be missed, my friend. Sleep well. Love, I can't tell you how sad I was when I first heard of the passing of Frank Sinatra. He will live forever through his music and through the movies we watch that he was in. I saw Frank at Riverbend in Cincinnati, Ohio September 3, 1994 and it was my first time to see him live, and I must admit, I was star struck. He came out, looked at the band and said, "shoot" and he broke into "Come Fly With Me!" For the next hour over 15,000 fans cherished every momment. Frank Sinatra is MUSIC. Fans from ages 8 to 80 enjoyed him that night, and Frank was "right on" that night. 50 years from today, he will still be MUSIC! Thank you Frank for sharing with me, your music is the greatest. My prayer is for you family, and that God will grant you His grace and His peace. God Bless You! This Love of Mine goes on and on!! Rest in peace Dear Frank. Deepest sympathies to Barbara, Nancy Jr, Frank Jr. and Tina. Look: we all expected this. He didn't sing anymore. We didn't see him in public anymore. But still ... he was there. A living legend. And now he has joined the other legends and that makes him even more irreachable for me. And I know there is his music. And I know that's a consolation. But still ... he isn't here anymore. And that makes a lot of difference. His music has meant such a lot of me. Since 14 I have listened to Sinatra's music. I saw him once in London at the Royal Albert Hall. I have all the cd's I want. I know all his songs by heart. I will listen to the happy songs now, because I can't bear the sad ones. I saw Frankie at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles in the late 70's and he left a profound impression on me at a young age of 20. I now have a deep love and appreciation for this incredible man; he moves and seduces me like no other. Jan Isaacs Thank you God for giving us Frank.
God Bless Frank Sinatra in HEAVEN! |
