Francis Albert Sinatra : 1915 - 1998

Frank sienmpre te recorare.

- Alejandro Mendez

When I saw Frank In Atlantic City for the first time in 94. I was 21 and still not the youngest on there. The room buzzed with excitement like I have never seen before or since. People telling story after story about how Frank had touch them. And then the band played and they simply announced him softly "Ladies and Gentleman, Francis Albert Sinatra" and he Walked out and got an immediate standing ovation, he got 8 that night. I couldn't believe it but I started to cry the emotion of seeing this legend standing 5 ft in front of me was overwhelming. Then he just smiled and turned to Frank Jr. and said "Hit it!, Fly me to the moon!" It was unbelievable. The reveiwers said it was the best show he had done their in years. I feel so lucky to have been there, and to be able to say "I saw Frank Sinatra and man he was the best!!" He is an absolute Legend and there will never be another like him and I'll never forget him or that fabulous night.

I wanted to send my deepest and sincerest condolences in the passing of Mr. Frank Sinatra. Words cannot describe the feelings we have encountered since hearing the bad news. Mr. Sinatra has given the world so much as his inspirational style and romantic lyrics, along with his ability to transcend generations with his music, can never be repeated. No one could sing about life's ups and downs and make you feel it. Mr. Sinatra's music will live forever. God Bless his family and friends, as my prayers are with you....

Most sincerely,
A Philadelphia fan

I guess I only got to meet one member of the "rat pack." It was Peter Lawford and it was 1966 and he was accompanying Jackie. I just thought about Frank because I have always somehow and in some way liked his style, although for me music seems in the background. Without that something special, life might just be too hard. Thanks for soothing everyone, bringing forth the emotion, and doing what few people do: looking at us all in the eye and saying something that really means something.

When I heard the news of Frank's death, I was shocked.
I can't really explain what he meant to me, I can only say He was a part of my life.
I will never forget him and through his music, he lives on.
I wish the family a lot of strenght and love.

Frank, may you rest in peace, I love you.

I was truly sorry too hear about Frank's death. I know we all have to go at some time, but we think of celebrities as the ones that will always be here. It will be a very long time before the world sees someone like Frank again.

My dad knew Frank. My dad was "young terry, the trenton buzzsaw" the fighter. He knew everybody, even Al Capone. i feel orphaned, my dad's gone, my mom's gone, and now, frank is gone. but just from this earth. now everyone is in my heart, which is broken.............. i love you, frank sinatra.

I almost get tired of people saying that if you're under 50, Frank's music cannot be truly appreciated. Sinatra's music provides such life and reaches so deeply inside that as long as people listen to him, he will live on. The main comfort in this is that the Rat Pack lives on-just in new surroundings.
