Francis Albert Sinatra : 1915 - 1998

Doubtless observed before: the world was his kind of town.

Francis

Your Softly As I Leave You started me on a 30 year friendship.
Your Man Alone helped me through a time I wanted to give up.
Your songs Emily and Elizabeth named my children.
Your songs gave us a gift that will soon be compared to Mozart.
Your voice was a compassionate friend, advisor, and mentor.
Until you came along my heart was on the run.

I'll miss you.

Hello! I'm Dave a fifteen year old guy and people often thinks that only aged people listen to Frank's songs and my friends also think I'm mad because I didn't listen to Bands like Back Street Boys,Boyzone,Aqua, etc, but listen to the very very old songs of Frank Sinatra! The story started when I was eleven when I was walking on the streets and suddenly heard a nice voice and song that struck me and I followed the music to the HMV (His Master Voice) Music Shop and near to the speaker and the salesgirl came to me and asked me what did I want and I reply who is the singer of this song. She replyed:"I'll will go and ask for you." A woman age of either fifty or sixty came to me telling me she is the manager and told me its an old singer Frank Sinatra! She talk in the way as though she was a fan of Frank Sinatra and she surprisely asked me are you seaching for Spice Girls CDs? I replyed no, I want to get Frank Sinatra's CDs and she had a nice chat with me and also let me listen to some Frank Sinatra's songs as nowadays not many young people listen to Frank Sinatra's songs and you may say not even a percent of young music lovers. I started buying Frank Sinatra's CDs, VHS, Even Records and LPs.I ran all around to get more information of Frank Sinatra and you know its rare to get information of him because his older than Beatles! I love all his songs with the smooth radom and the taste and smell and feeling of the 40s,50s and 60s! Nice'n'Easy New York,New York! Luck Be A Lady! But Beautiful!

Yours faithfully,

Frank Sinatra was music and music was Frankie. I'm only 22 but I've grown up listening to his music. My grandparents are huge fans and they always played his music when I'd go to their house as a child and they still do today. My grandparents actually went to a dance in Toronto many many moons ago, I believe in the late thirties, and Frankie was singing. It was the first time they had heard him and they always tell the story the same....."He was electric...pure gold". I think that sums up how they feel about him and I agree wholeheartedly. I think he got us all under his skin. Congratulations on a long and full life Frankie. We'll all miss you so very much..

There will never be another like him, he was truly "one of a kind". Thank God, his voice will live on through all his records, etc. I never got to see him in person in this life, maybe I'll see him in the next.

I just want to say that I am so upset about the passing of Frank Siantra. I am only 17 but I am a HUGE fan of Sinatra. His music will live on forever-I am his biggest fan.
