Paul Smith Paul Smith was born in San Diego. He played with the bands of Ozzie Nelson, Johnny Richards, and Tommy Dorsey before coming to Hollywood to become one of the top studio musicians from 1950 to 1972. He has accompanied almost every singer in the music business and has been a featured soloist on many television shows and in many concerts throughout the country. He served as staff pianist for NBC in Hollywood for 10 years and Warner Brothers Studio. He was pianist/arranger for Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis, Jr., Edie Adams, Joni James, Steve Allen, and Pat Boone, among others. Television credits include "Happy Days," "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," "Golden Girls," and "Blossom," to name but a few. Mr. Smith's 50 albums can be heard on Capitol, Verve, MGM, Warners, Tmperial, and the Discovery labels. Currently he can be heard on Outstanding Records.
